Dan Gapen Sr's "Head River Rat"

DVD Series #6 - 2014 Release!

Alaska's Rivers & Seas Documentary

As many of you know, Dan Gapen Sr. is the nation's "Head River Rat." His vast experience on rivers throughout the world has been brought to light in the numerous articles written for the North American media. His books on rivers over the years have exposed the angler to a vast array of how-to tips, which have enriched and increased their catch. In their TV show, "Fishing the World with The Ol' Man and Bobber Anne," Dan and "Bobber" Anne have brought viewers to rivers throughout the world where they learn how to fish the multitude of river fish available. In this River Rat waterway series of DVDs, Dan once again opens the door and educates its viewers to this world where soft flowing and rapid exploding rivers give up their trophies.

We hope these DVDs become a platform from which you can reap the harvest of rivers. As the Ol' Man says, "Relax, savor and enjoy our great outdoors!"

Really Hot Fishing Video August 5, 2014
Reviewer: John W. from Northern Minnesota
Hi Dan and Anne,
I just watched the Alaska disk for the third time - boy - you really have a  hot one. It has to be one of the best you've ever done. It starts off fast an it flows quickly from scene to scene. The super camera work keeps people locked to the screen - no chance to get bored - they might miss something. The audio is perfect with just the right number of tips and advice for both new and veteran fishermen.

I liked it all - the little dolly lost at creek edge and then finding her way upstream - the bears- and all the rods bent double - also the fly rod on a down rigger will get lots of attention. It's the kind of disk that will win prizes.
I don't get excited easily, but I guarantee if you can do a couple of encore to go along with this one, you'll have a big winner. It made me wish I was there.

Hope you hit the lake trout at Nipigon -
Best to All -

John W.
