This is a manuscript with many detailed maps covering the countless numbers of walleye staging spots. It will cover both small and large river systems. It will detail big river wingdams as well as small stream eddy cuts. It will cover migration and spawn. And it will delve into deepwater summer haunts on all river systems. Baits, rigs and equipment will be discussed as will techniques. “River Walleye” is the first book ever written on river walleye.

People get so caught up in the new and hottest ways to fish, this book brings you back down to earth and how to catch ton's of walleye the "old Fashioned Way".  These methods still work!

4 of 5 Another good read June 25, 2014

Dan's book How to Fish River walleye is instructive and entertaining.  It presents specific location and pattern, but without over-kill on specific, brand name baits which can be common in major publishing magazines which can leave the reader wondering if they are reading an info-mercial.
