The Jerk™ is best used in a vertical jigging motion after allowing the lure to first touch bottom, then be elevated to a point where the fish sought is known to stag. Once this point is achieved, work The Jerk™ in a slow ‘lift and drop’ motion which covers a distance from 1 to 3 feet. Watch the falling motion of the line. It is on the drop that most gamefish strike a lure worked this way.
