Gapen's NEW "Gold-n-Salt™" rods combine the best features of fiberglass and high modulus graphite. Molded by a NEW "interweave™" of glass and graphite, these saltwater rods are extremely strong, light in weight and super sensitive to the touch.

Gapen's have field tested these NEW rods in South America for monstrous Amazon catfish, in Costa Rica for surface exploding tarpon, in Panama for stubborn marlin, off the coast of New Jersey for toothy bluefish and in Alaska for bottom hugging halibut.

The "Gold-n--Salt™" senes of saltwater rods are as strong and sensitive as any rod now being manufactured in the world today. This rod is made in the U.S.A. with Amencan graphite and glass, and is hand wrapped by American labor using Amencan engineering.

SPECIAL, FEATURES: All "Gold-n-Salt™" rods host a layer of underwrap thread beneath the eye stems to prevent saltwater corrosion, rust and thread rot. CUI rod eyes are the strongest in the world, being made of titanium oxide and mounted on stainless steel eye guides. Reel seats are made of non-corrosive, stainless steel ard Fuji molded graphite. No expense has been spared to make the "Gold-n-Salt™" rod series the finest in its class.
