Gapen Bobber Stop - Silicone Bead Stop for Slip Floats
Gapen Bobber Stops are silicone bead stops built for slip floats, slider rigs, and running rigs. They lock your float at the depth you want without knotting or cutting the line.
Slide the stop onto the line, add the bead and float, then set depth by moving the stop. Choose the line size that matches your setup so the stop grips firmly and still slides when you need to adjust.
Key Features & Benefits
- Silicone Bead Stop – Holds slip floats at the right depth
- Line-Friendly – Grips without damaging mono or fluoro
- Multi-Use – Works as a float stop, weight stop, or running-rig stop
- Sized by Line – Match the stop to your line for a secure hold
- Slip-Float Essential – A must-have for walleye, crappie, and panfish rigs
Keep a pack in every float box. Once you fish slip bobbers, you will not want to be on the water without extra stops.
Slip-N-Lock floats can be used as either a slip float or a stationary float as shown here.
1. Insert line through slot in side of locking device.
2. To rig float as a slip float, pull sleeve down just slightly over slot opening.
3. To rig float as a permanent float, pull sleeve all the way down at the end of locking device.
Gapen's Slip-N-Lock floats are ideal for any game species of fish you seek. When choosing size, use these tips as a guideline:
-Panfish, crappie and bluegill are best taken on float sizes 4", 5", 6" or 7" in the crappie & bream float styles.
-For walleye and bass, select sizes 5", 6", 7", 8", 9" or 10" in the walleye, bream, and big game floats.
-For larger fish, such as muskie, northern pike, catfish and stripers, use a 10" or 12" size in the big gamefish style.
Fishing Tips: Slide the bobber stop onto your line, then add the bead and slip float. Set depth by moving the stop up or down. Use the correct line-size stop so it grips without slipping or cutting the line. Keep extras in the box — they are easy to lose and essential for slip-float walleye, crappie, and panfish rigs.
