Gapen Walk-N-Lizard - 6” or 9" Indestructible Ashwood Walking Topwater
The Gapen Walk-N-Lizard is a nearly impossible-to-break 6” or 9" walking topwater lure constructed of hard ashwood with a stainless thru-wire core and extra-strong Mustad treble hooks. Originally designed by Dan Gapen for peacock bass in South America, it has proven equally deadly on northern pike, large bass, and trophy muskie.
Each lure is impregnated with composite resins to prevent rot, then finished with three coats of epoxy and a crystal-clear heavy-duty acrylic for extreme durability.

How to Fish the Walk-N-Lizard
Presentation 1: Work the lure slowly — often the slower the better — for largemouth bass, trophy muskie, pike, and stripers.
Presentation 2: Rip the lizard fast for about 6 feet, stop, twitch gently, then rip again and repeat.
