The drag is amazing and the reel is more smooth than my old $300 reel- Dan Gapen showed me at a show. When the drag sings on a big fish- it is amazing sound. Infinite fine adjustments in this drag - love it! Got rid of my old reel and bought 2 more of these 1.5’s -

This reel features everything needed for my guiding clients to use (but I don't let them abuse)... Love this reel for travel and the folding handle makes packing excellent - stacking 6.5' rods together in bundles excellent. The drag is so smooth - like butter! Infinite setting you can hear the drag being set and the drag sound is like music. This is my #1 boat and shore client reel and it should be priced a lot higher - don't tell the Gapens. Love this price for Spring stocking up for my guide business.

Not very pleased with the reel did not hold the amount of line it said it could and tangles line very badly.  Not very happy with this reel.
