Gapen Ugly Bug Heads - Original Anti-Snag Stand-Up Jig Heads

The Gapen Ugly Bug Heads are the original anti-snag, stand-up jig heads designed by Dan Gapen Sr. in 1969. The wide-forward, narrow-back wedge shape allows the jig to pivot up and out of rock crevices approximately 85% of the time, while also balancing level when vertically jigged and standing at a 45-degree angle on bottom.

Available in sizes from 1/32 oz all the way up to 3 oz, and in Black, Brown, Chartreuse, Orange, Purple, White, and Yellow, these heads let you build or re-rig your own Ugly Bugs to match any depth, current, or target species.
