Description

Streamer - Laker/Striper

The laker/striper fly was created in 1995 to entice lake trout in the far north. It has since proved itself on inland stripers in reservoirs such as Norfolk, Beaver, Cumberland and Texoma. Its original intent was to imitate the cisco minnow in northern waters. But once the fly was used in the US waters, it was found to imitate the shad, alewife, and large shiner minnow, as well. The laker/striper fly is now being used on most predator game fish which include walleye, bass, northern pike, muskie, salmon and lake trout.<br>
